Love Island Stars at the Hitched UK Rooftop Event in London
Some events stay with you, and this one had everything I love to photograph: golden London light, flowers everywhere and a room full of people who genuinely love weddings. I was invited by Hitched UK, the wedding planning platform that connects couples with suppliers across the country, to capture their summer event on a rooftop at [venue name] overlooking St Paul's and the Shard.

The guest list was something special. Love Island favourites Molly Smith and Tom Clack joined us just days before their own wedding, and you could feel the excitement around them all evening. They sat down for a live chat with the Hitched team, laughed through every question and stopped to admire the illustrated wedding portraits on display. Will Young and Jessie Wynter were there too, and their relaxed, affectionate energy in front of the floral arch made my job an absolute joy.

Photographing a celebrity event in London
As a celebrity photographer in London, my approach at events like this is the same one I bring to every wedding. I look for the real moments between the posed ones: a shared laugh on the sofa, guests leaning in to read a card, the sun breaking over the city as the evening winds down. Celebrity guests deserve polished portraits, but brands also need the atmosphere, the details and the people who make the night feel alive.
The details that made the night
Hitched UK created a beautiful space, from the purple arch framed by huge arrangements of anthurium, roses and allium to the Hitched in Bloom flower bar where guests built their own posies. There were live illustrations, colour analysis and storytelling stations, all set against one of the best views in London. Watching the sun set behind St Paul's at the end of the night was the perfect way to close it.
